Corporate Controller
Job Overview:
The Corporate Controller has overall responsibility for serving as the lead global team member who provides assurance over internal control processes; and the final consolidated results of the entire global enterprise for financial and tax reporting purposes.
Essential Functions
- Responsible for all financial reporting, various tax reporting and filings, preparation of all supporting documentation and accuracy of all transactional reporting cycles.
- Reports weekly, monthly results to bank to maintain compliance with credit agreement, debt covenants.
- Maintains and monitors effective internal control processes and procedures throughout the organization, to effectuate accuracy and compliance in financial reporting.
- Develops and mentors a cohesive high performing work team to achieve the finance department’s goals and initiatives.
- Key member in supporting annual financial statement audits, recurring field exams by bank.
- Assigns tasks and special projects to direct reports, and monitors progress to completion.
- Leads and manages all compliance initiatives with internal and external audits.
- Monitors cost accounting processes, working with plant and corporate staff to achieve completeness and accuracy of reporting.
- Key member of ERP system initiatives and operational support across all locations.
- Undertakes additional duties, projects and responsibilities as necessary or requested by the executive committee.

Required Education and Experience
- Certified Public Accountant
- 5 Years in an accounting or accounting related position.
- Bachelors in accounting or accounting related field of study required.
Preferred Experience/skills:
- Management experience in accounting or accounting related field, preferably with private equity reporting.
Travel
Travel of up to 20% is expected supporting our plants in US, Canada and the Netherlands. Valid passport is required.
Physical requirements

This is a largely sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files as necessary. Assist in physical inventory counts of our manufacturing facilities (MSHA and/or OSHA sites).
