Business Development Manager, Polymer Additives


Principal Responsibities:

The introduction and commercialization of a novel, functionalized graphene nanoplatelet product into polymer products such as coating, adhesives and sealant, which will include the identifying target applications and customers; identifying and contacting appropriate individuals and convincing them to evaluate graphene nanoplatelets; maintain a relationship with the customer as the product evaluation proceeds; obtaining information on the benefits of the product and the value of the product to the customer and the potential volume it may purchase in the future.  With a final result of commercial sales to customers.

Preferred Experience/skills:

  • Undergraduate degree in chemistry, materials science, polymer science, chemical engineering or similar.  An advanced degree in science or engineering or an MBA is preferred.
  • Five (5) years of experience in the commercialization of new additive products producers of coatings, adhesives, sealants, or other related fields. Experience with thermoset polymers and polymer compounding a plus.
  • Five (5) years experience in Business Development and at least one (1) year in Sales

Ability to commute to Orlando, FL 32822, working remotely acceptable and reliable commute preferred.
